Great food. Best onion rings in the universe. Classic. I love The Redwood.
I'm not sure if the Redwood opened this week.... I was impressed with their service during the quarantine! The two employees managed the calls and got the food out while social distancing! It was so fun that the "rules" allowed take-out drinks! Not only did we get to enjoy our favorite pork tenderloin dinners, I got a grasshopper ice cream drink. I never have room for one after dinner there. I put it in the freezer -- found that it's wonderful topping a brownie!
Not the best meal I have had, 10 out of 13 people in our party were not impressed one bit.
5 stars excellent waitress very attentive and amazing food and service along with their well known relish tray.
Amazing relish tray with dinner! The onion rings are a must try. We enjoyed steak, fish and chicken and all were terrific. Along with a tasty classic cocktail this place is a favorite. I just wish the raspberry sauce that came with my chicken was bottled and sold!
Have dined here since I was a child. Great food, known for his meats and the famous onion rings.
What isn't good there? The onion rings are incredible! A genuine institution to Southwest Iowa....
Have to say the Chicken I had last night was as good as if Nina Walters was alive and back cooking in the kitchen! My complements to the cooks the onion rings were perfect too!
