Very pleasant experience in the woods, right in the middle of town! I'm not a fan of zoos so I'm not including that in my rating.
This was such a fun experience! *More of a sanctuary than a zoo *Free parking *Easy to find *Food and eating area on site *Fun gift shop *Clean bathrooms *Very friendly & knowledgeable staff *Lots of interesting animal exhibits *Interactive, educational games along the way *Redwood Skywalk is amazing!!! This is a MUST-DO on a visit to Eureka! *ADA accessible in most of the park (no wheels allowed on the Skywalk, tho)
Loved the skywalk! Sad that we missed the red pandas.
What a wonderful walk up there smong the tall trees! It's also very pleasant to walk sroun the small xoo. We found it a bit pricey.
