Wowed by the service, the food, the atmosphere, everything. You have to check this place out.
We had a delicious dinner of ribs and chicken. We tried several of the sauces and decided we preferred the Michigan Cherry Molasses the most. Chicken was super tender! The ribs were cooked just perfect. The red beans and rice were fabulous. My husband raved about the collard greens. I'd give our visit a 9.5! Definitely recommend to friends!
Very slow service, but the food was pretty good. It's a small cramped space, and the bathroom was downstairs, not handicap friendly at all, but for being an old building, it can be expected.

We ate the bar; our bartender was snippy. I hate bad service. I had higher hopes for the food though. Unfortunately, the baby backs were tough and fatty, the greens lacked seasoning, but, the Mac and cheese was good and so were the candied yams. I won't be back.
Good food and our waitress was very nice! I've only been there twice and I would definitely be going back again.
The food and service were very good! I had the Carolina spare ribs with sweet potatoes, and there biscuit. The ribs were tender, meaty and flavorful, the sweet potatoes were nice and sweet the way I like them, and the jalapeño in the biscuit gave it a very nice flavor without being too spicy. I tried my friend's mac and cheese and it was delicious too! I've already told lots of people about it and will definitely go back again.
