The grouper sandwich is stupid good!!!!!! Get it!!!!! Steamed cluster oysters were delicious and fun to eat!!! Lindsey our waitress/bartender was excellent!!!! Definitely will go back our next trip to Kiawah Island!!!!!
We've been eating at Red's sporadically for years - you just can't beat the view. Last night was so much more than just the view, it was one of the best pub style meals we've had in a long time. The fish and chips and grouper sandwich were lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. So tender and moist. The hushpuppies were tastier than ever. Even the drinks were better than ever. I hope it wasn't just a fluke but we'll be going back again soon after last night's meal.
One of the worst restaurant experience I've had in years. Only a few tables seated & it took 10+ minutes for some to take drink orders... and much less, acknowledge our existence. Another 10+ minutes before our drinks to arrive. Finally our order was taken. The meal was served quickly but the entrees were pitiful. Shrimp we're good but the fries were cold. For the price of the meal, 6 puny shrimp did not work for me. The portions of my husband's meal were terrible as well. I will not return. Very disappointing.

The fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese is the best!!! The new shrimp blt is amazing as well! Go see Steve and Stacey, they’re awesome!
