This past Saturday I brought my family to Reds expecting the great flavors it was recommended for. I ordered the Lowcountry Boil which was described as Shrimp, Sausage in the pot with potatoes and corn Spiced & Flavored the Lowcountry way. When the bowl arrived it was slightly warmed at best and had zero spice or flavor. Dead flat corn and potatoes with a few shrimp and summer sausage pieces thrown on top. It appeared that they had run out of boil and hastily threw this flavorless dish together. Very disappointing.

After finding the Mt Pleasant location had a very limited selection due to remodeling, we decided to take the 50 minute trip to this location as we had heard good reviews and liked what we saw on the menu. We had THE most delicious food and amazing service that it was well worth the drive as well as the wait when we arrived. Excellent service. We asked to move to a table outside after we had already ordered—no problem. The food was great and the view is awesome!
I go there every time I come down from Salem, Va. to visit. Great food and music.
