Inconsistent Food Quality. Sometimes the Chopped BBQ chicken salad is good, sometimes not so much. This place is "Simi good" which means when you go to a place like Phil's BBQ in San Diego you realize the Red's Beef ribs are mediocre at best.
Wonderful rerstaurant, good variety on the menu, excellent value and healthy portions - don't be ashamed to take some home for lunch tomorrow.

I'm a big fan of Red's, have been since the first visit over a decade ago. Everything is usually always great, very few disappointments over the years; I bring guests here all of the time, so I must trust the place. Everybody has their favorites, the Rib Eye being one of them, and don't forget their signature rolls, those are just plain evil! Red's, ya just gotta love it.
One of my favorite places for good meat in Ventura County.
