Sold me a duramax with a 8 bad injectors 5k I brought up the knocking noise to him he told me oh that's just the way they run that's the way they sound everything's normal with that truck mechanic looked at it his partner . Come to find out I have a bad injectors and all the fuel return lines were shot you buy a truck for 13,000 and the guy says his mechanic had checked it out. it ought to make you more than 100 miles before you have to trailer it to a mechanic. BUYER BEWARE! Do NOT buy from these people! I believe the codes on the car were cleared prior to my purchase, literally not even two weeks after I got a catalytic converter code and he said it was because it’s an older car and it was hot. These types of repairs cost THOUSANDS of dollars. After seeing that the bill of sale was not signed on the part that asks if the car is emissions ready, his response was that MN doesn’t require cars to pass an emissions test.
