We must have went there on a bad day. The wait staff was wonderful, the food was mediocre at best. Pork chop was very dry, fried chicken was over doused in hot sauce, risotto was dry and undercooked. Then breakfast the next morning wasn't much better. Won't be going back- there are too many restaurants in Syracuse with much better food.
Hostess and management were horrible ;( Here for Mother's Day brunch and had a reservation for 12:45, but a hotel guest (with no reservation) was all most sat a head of us...I said something! We were finally sat at 1:15. They were given our table and we got a huge round table for 2 adults and 2 children that had been empty since we arrived. I got rude looks from the 2 female managers through out our meal. Plus, they ran out of plates and it took forever to restock pre made foods. Was there Saturday place was empty and Service was horrible staff speaking and dressed like they were in the ghetto (except waiter he had uniform) ordered 1 appetizer asked for it to come out with our salads it came 15 min after the risotto was salty and the duck thigh was dry and crumbly won't be back
We enjoyed Mother's Day Brunch at Redfield's this morning and it was excellent. They offered a lovely spread of breakfast and lunch items, including an omelette station, french toast bake, fruit, salads, chicken, and incredible freshly baked desserts (truffles, cream pies, bars). Terri, our waitress, was attentive and pleasant and the manager watched over the whole operation carefully. We have gone to other brunches and nothing compares. Other places are crowded and just not very special. We will return to next year.
