I lent my car to a friend, and the transmission went out in Shasta. About 600 miles from home. I went on yelp and found this place. We had the car towed and left at their shop overnight and called in the morning.I spoke to Todd, and he was kind, patient and understanding. He diagnosed the trouble and called me with the bad news. He said it might take about a week and a half. He called me 3 days later and it was DONE! Quality work, quality service.

It was the worst possible time for my clutch pedal to go to the floor and stay there. I was in the middle of a busy intersection in rush hour traffic in 107-degree heat and 400 miles from my vacation destination. And the shop was closed in advance of the 4th of July holiday. Marty just happened to be there and answered the phone by accident. Realizing my vacation was at stake he agreed to stay after hours and get me going. I stopped by with transmission issues. Todd took the time to scan my car and look it over. I am going back to have a complete service on my transmission. The staff was friendly and made me feel like a valued customer.

Honest, fair prices and great work quality. Excellent cutomer service from todd! Best transmission shop I've ever been to. I have taken two of my vehicles so far to Redding transmissions for repairs and couldnt be happier with the result. Only place to go in my opinion!!

I was a 1st time customer to Redding Transmission. I needed to have my transmission serviced in my truck. I called around town to get rates and after talking to multiple shops, Redding Transmission not only offered the most affordable service but was willing to have me come in with same day service without an appointment. I was frustrated with most other shops in Redding because most refused to even work on my truck because they complained my particular truck had a cross-beam that ran under my transmission (Chevy S-10 ZR2). ... read more

This is how to get repeat business..My F-150 developed an intermittent noise which sounded like it could be coming from the tranny. After having just spent a grand on another problem it had, naturally the next thing to go out after 200k mi was the transmission. After calling around at several other shops I called Todd and after explaining my situation he said bring it in and I'll squeeze it in for a look-see.
