I have had great luck with them !!
I bought a truck recently with a transmission that had already been repaired at another local shop and it is prematurely failing. The warranty is void because of the change of ownership. I have had other work performed at Redding Transmission and am confident that when I am ready to have this transmission rebuilt again it will be the quality that I as a business owner expect. Definitely a shop I would recommend to others.
I can tell why they have good reviews - they're good people. I brought my car in this morning and Richard fixed me up and did some extras without charging all the extra - I really appreciated that. The car is doing great - great service.
Todd and his team saved my families Easter! My husband and I along with our two young children were on our way to Oregon from Paradise Ca when all of a sudden our van would not go. We were stuck on the side of I-5. We were towed to Todd's shop without him knowing we were coming. He asked my kids what cartoons they wanted to watch and made sure we were comfortable. These guys are great. They were very helpful with what route to go with the tranny rebuild in my Ford F-350 diesel. I have to say the price was good and the work was better. I did have a warranty issue and it was taken care of fast. I almost never leave reviews but Redding transmission was great and I can't say enough good things about them. My check engine light has been on and off for the past few months now, I have taken it to numerous other well known shops, with "great" reputation, but none of them could get to the root of the problem, I was charged a total of 200 dollars all together from other shops and nothing was solved. Called Todd mid morning and he said they could work on servicing the transmission after lunch. I took it in and it was quickly on the rack. I'd estimate the service was completed in around 1-1.5 hours. The service tech also checked the differentials and stated that the oil looked clean so no need to change. I'll be back with other vehicles.
Just had a service done on my Transmission as well as my thermostat changed. Still won't go anywhere but here. Friendliest staff I've ever met and I truly trust the work. I had my oil changed a few months ago as well as my power steering. They can seriously do it all! Thanks guys, you never disappoint!
