Fantastic drinks, ambience and vibe. I've watched a lot of awesome band perform here, some I heard for the first time. Love the cozy setting for drinks and hanging out on weeknights. Bartenders make strong drinks and are super attentive and friendly. The owner, Bob, is super cool and makes everyone feel at home. My favorite lunge in Duluth hands down!
I love the wide range of live music with the early start times. Thanx for listening to the customers needs and bringing Davina and the Vagabonds back to Duluth !!
The music is good. The crowd friendly. All around nice place to grab a drink n chill to some live music.
I was treated like some belligerent fool when I tried to talk to the bartenders outside. The bartenders were a bunch of douches even after I tipped them well. No sense of customer service whatsoever. Advice to management: get new staff or re-train.

this is a good place where good things happen
The Red Herring boasts a stellar collection of signature drinks and essential Duluth taps. This is a well crafted space for intimate shows and also the perfect place to sip slowly and let the conversation wander. Something about the embedded wood and brick makes it feel like it's always been here, but really it's one of the best new venues in Duluth. I've seen several great shows here; the local bands and hometown bartenders make this one of my favorite places.
