Really enjoy Red Shanty, very good food, great service, fun setting. LOVE THE DESERTS! Ribs were just a tad dry but flavor was gr8! This is the only time that has happened & I mean just a tad dry!! Will definitely go back. Do yourself a favor & give Red Shanty a try. You'll be hooked!

This is some damn good BBQ! Fun atmosphere and great service! Shopping at Kleinschmidts, eating at the Red Shanty...both, a Higginsville must
BBQ was decent but expensive. Charged $3 for slaw on a sandwich. Found a hair in potato soup. Twice! Service was slow waited over five minutes before being approached after being seated and we were one of two tables.
Good food & great portions. Worth every penny. Nice atmosphere.
All I can say is if you are near Higginsville give it a try ... and if you aren't near by take the trip .. great food... great staff ...great atmosphere.
