Only stopped by for a rest but it was comfortable and the room was clean. Staff is friendly and the location feels very safe.
The Red Roof Plus in Wilmington DE is run by liars. I contacted them a day ahead and got special approval to bring 3 dogs for an overnight stay. It was in the notes of the reservation, confirmed by Red Roof Inn customer service. When I arrived at 10 PM on Saturday night I was told their policy was 2 dogs and that we couldn’t stay. The room very clean, but a tad pricey, but the hotel staff were very good at addressing issues. I had an issue the first night and they handled it fast and efficiently. The maid staff needs to check the body wash it was near empty. The bed was nice clean and relaxing, TV though some of the basic channels should have worked but sadly did not.
The biggest issue is the condition of the room. The carpets had a strong musty odor throughout the room. The smell was noticeable immediately upon entering and was unpleasant enough that it affected the overall stay. The ac also had a terrible smell coming from it. To be fair, the staff was friendly
This place is a joke. Full of roaches. I mean it's infested. I left a day early. Roaches on ceiling crawling on bed also in bathroom. I never would stay there again. As I opened the door 3 roaches fell on my head. Not impressed.
