Don't stay here – Where to begin! First, the entire hotel was under contruction, which included painting. I suffer from debilitating migraines and paint fumes and large amounts of dust set my migraines off. This should have been disclosed on the website, even the third party website should have been made aware of this. When we arrived in our room, and noticed the feces or vomit spread on the inside of the toilet bowl, we called the front desk and the man working seemed very put out that at 9:30pm he had to come clean a toiet... read more
Great location! Overall it was a pleasant experience.
I will definitely stay here again! – Is within walking distance of UVA hospital. Was able to get a much better room rate here than at any other hotel in the area. Rooms are clean and suitable for a short term stay. I will definitely stay here again providing the rates stay within a reasonable range.

great school The staff there is professional and they are always well groomed. They dedicate their time and attention to the children. Always making sure each child get the love and attention they need and deserve. I couldn't be happier when my child comes home telling me her adventures for the day. Definitely the school for you if you have young kids.
I wouldn't stay again – This place (although one of the cheaper places to stay) can only charge what it does because of its location right on the seawall. I visited in April 2009 (post hurricane) and this place needs some major updating. The carpet is old an musty (30 years of moisture), the ceilings have that old popcorn texture and the bedspreads are old and spotted. Spend a few extra bucks and stay someplace a little nicer. Clean Room and Great Price – I stayed at the Red Roof Inn Austin North over the weekend with my family. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable the rooms were. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Our original reservation was for 2 nights but we ended up staying for 3. Next time we are in Austin we will be staying at the Red Roof Inn.
