We arrived and signed a paper about the place being a non smoking hotel... When we walked into the hallway the door hits you in the face. A mixture of stale smoke & musty odors is prevalent. The vacuum being used in the hallway is horrible! I can't tell you how that smelled when we walked down another hall being "cleaned" Unfortunately we had to kill several ROACHES during our brief stay. They took out more then what they supposed to and I found out when they refund my money, then put me in a trashy room... I'm not having a good birthday because of it... we went to a different place....it need some air vents in these rooms, having asthma its hard to breathe
Front desk lady has no social or interaction skills in the morning. Everything else was excellent
This place has seen better days. Lots of things to put off travelers (ancient carpet in the hall, roach on the wall, bright lights blinding you all night, the fact that 2 cop cars were there upon our arrival), but worst is the smell: a cloyingly thick layer of incense permeates the building. Dog friendly and cheap, but we'll never be back.
I first came to the USA in 2021, and during my travels I stayed at Red Roof Inn several times—usually when driving from Cambridge, Canada to Florida. Each stay was excellent; the rooms were clean, and everything was well-maintained. Based on those positive experiences, I insisted that my husband book Red Roof again last night.
