I selected this hotel because I didn't want the hour long drive of staying in a well known chain hotel. I was extremely surprised with the updates to the room, especially the lack of carpeting on the floor. For cleanliness, more hotels should follow suit and remove the carpets from rooms. It was very quiet, I felt safe. I did learn that at times the hotel acts or did act as a shelter for those in need. But again, I was surprised by how well maintained the hotel appears and the staff was friendly and helpful when needed.

Abby has graciously aided me beyond her station and made my day. If you get her at the desk you're day is already made. Eileen had me before I knew i had myself too. Good stuff all around, best service this side of norwich

Bathrooms locked on 1st floor due to street walkers entering bldg; local business advised us this is a facility with large numer of homeless individuals; long-term "tenants" with very large dogs, i.e. huge German Shepards; the fire control panel WAS NOT OPERABLE OR HOOKED UP, WASNT TAGGED BY FIRE MARSHAL FIR INSPECTION, FIRE DOORS ALL PROPPED OPEN WITH THR EXPLANATION THAT "HANDICAPPED PEOPLE IN WHEELCHAIRS CAN'T OPRN HEAVY DOORS; RECEPTIONIST ADVISED THEY DO "safely fire walls interior & exterior every 30 minutes" and proce... read more
