I stayed here late Friday night, left early Sunday morning. So the front desk allowed me to walk in and see the room soon arrival before check in. The room seemed alright. Once we got unpacked and stayed we were gone most Saturday day. That night we got back to the room and took showers (the tubs are too old to bathe in) and the water wouldn’t drain nor would the water get hot. Was a very great stay here and the management staff was very kind, very helpful and so professional. The housekeeping team was very kind and p very respectful to our privacy and needs. The rooms were very clean and setup very well for my family’s needs. I highly recommend to choose this Red Roof Inn in Monroe, La., to enjoy a very comfortable and very clean rooms!

While the room itself was clean, the customer service from the front desk rep needs work. My husband and I found cigarette stains in the bathroom, the room reeked of cigarettes, and the TV was not working. The room was supposed to be smoke-free. Not only did we not get an apology, but the front desk worker kept making excuses and was rude/accusatory. He fixed the TV, but that was pretty much it.
