The room we were given had a horrible food odor so we requested a new room. The guy at check in switched our room but said it was the only room left. Being late at night, we took it. There were stains on the bedding, the floors were sticky and dirty, the tub wouldn't drain and was clogged with black gunk, the walls had numerous patches of sheetrock mud that hadn't been painted. Good location, a pleasant and clean room and a great staff!
Staff is terrific!!!!!!!!!!! This town has been through so much in past year AND YET this hotel has weathered the storm so well - literally! - working effectively through short staff at front desk and housekeeping, busy sold out full house due to Helene but also due to Apple Festival and to so many contractors staying local helping rebuild the area. Through it all staff is kind and efficient. I love this Red Roof location!
