I booked and prepaid more than three months in advance for an accessible deluxe room with two queen beds and a roll-in shower. I arrived around 11 p.m. only to be told that no such room was available. Instead, I was offered a room upstairs in a building without an elevator — completely inaccessible — and when I asked for alternatives, the manager refused both a refund and a walk to another hotel with an accessible room. First, our room was supposed to be ready by 11am but we were told it was going to be ready about 12 hours later at 11pm, Second the ac didn’t work correctly and blowed warm air at us which made us sweat through the night, Third the place was infested with bugs at every turn above the door at the bathroom sink and above the desk, Fourth the bathroom curtains had what appeared to be black mold on the curtains, Fifth the sheets smelled like piss and there was a stain on the sheets, Sixth The location is pretty horrible being lo... read more

This was my first and last Red Roof experience. Nothing was clean-floors, shower had not been touched, the exterior areas were trashed, especially around the vending machines. Ice machines were broken, the list could go on and on. The room had no toilet paper. Called down to get some and was told that they do not deliver-you have to come get it. For the money you could do much better elsewhere.

We had booked days ahead at Red Roof Inn knowing we would end a day there after 13+ hours driving. Tried to check in at 8:15pm, our room wasn't ready. A real red flag should have been that the front desk immediately offered us a full refund. According to the lady staffing the desk, there were 6 events town this weekend and all hotels were fully booked, which I believe, because I tried three other dog friendly options in Grand Junction before booking Red Roof Inn when trip planning.
