The manager, Mr. Khalid was respectful and funny as well. I would recommend staying at the Red Roof Inn in Dumfries, Ava.

I drove into the parking lot & turned right around & drove out. Just from looking around the front of the building & the people hanging around the area I knew it would not be a safe place to stay as a solo woman.
Service was very friendly and helpful when the keycard had to be reactivated every day. The nice calming sounds of Dumfries Virginia was cut abruptly short by a dog next door that spent its entire day practicing a G minor note, and random friendly strangers providing a unconsensual opera at 2am. Where the atmosphere of the surrounding area wasn’t perfectly matched the unique wall art under the office desk offset it perfectly.
