I arrived at the hotel very late, so I didn’t have the opportunity to thoroughly inspect the room before going to bed. The next morning, after taking a closer look, I was extremely disappointed by the condition of the room. The room was dirty, there was visible black mold, it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, the floors were so slick they were a slip hazard, and both the microwave and refrigerator were filthy. Our stay at this Red Roof Inn was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was visibly unsanitary upon arrival. We found dead bugs throughout the room, bodily fluid residue on a lamp, blood and other stains on the bedding, pubic hairs on the pillows and in the bathroom, and mold present in the bathroom itself. The overall cleanliness was completely unacceptable and raised serious concerns about whether the room had been properly cleaned before our arrival.
