The desk staff was super friendly, and the location was conveniently located off the highway exit. We travel with a cat and Red Roof Inn always accepts pets and we found it to be a good value too.
Dingy. Lots of trash around the back door, otherwise nice grassy areas. Great potential, poor execution. Better seals around the room doors would help with noise isolation.
I stayed at Red Roof Inn, Clifton Park, NY, and would consider it just an average experience. The location is convenient, and the front office staff were supportive and helpful. However, the hotel corridors and rooms were not very pleasant, and the overall atmosphere felt a bit dated. For the price paid, I didn’t feel it offered good value. Breakfast is included, but it’s very basic—just a bagel with butter and jam, along with office-style coffee. Overall, it’s an okay place for a short stay, but nothing beyond average.
DO NOT GO HERE!!! ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS AND APPALLED BY THE BEHAVIOUR! STRAIGHT UP DISRESPECTFUL OF THE MANAGEMENT AND STAFF AT THIS LOCATION. TRULY DISGUSTING EVIL PEOPLE! Showed up after making a booking online, walked 30 minutes from my job at 2am only for front staff to be extremely appalling and disrespectful. Allowed me to book a room despite "all the rooms being booked and unavailable". I asked for the managers card so I could contact her about a refund, her name is Kristie Stinson! We highly recommend this affordable hotel. Super friendly front desk service, quiet area, felt safe. The breakfast was very good with several choices. Cleanliness is an area for improvement. A good spring clean would be nice. We saw other people's leftover meals before us and our child dropped a toy behind the bed and we had to wash his toy.
