My stay at the red roof inn has been amazing so far. The staff is very friendly, yet professional. The manager is a very good man, hard working, and works well with the clients coming to the hotel. I have no complaints.
The staff was not communicating well and they have bedbugs
Just left, room was disgusting. I don’t expect a 5-star hotel for the price ($80 was my rate), but I do expect basic cleanliness. It smelled of smoke extremely bad, and everything was dirty. The bed had stains on the sheets, and the smoke detector was ripped out of the wall. The floors were extremely dirty and sticky. They also had some kind of trash or food all over the floor. There are a lot of run down motels bringing down the community and the surrounding areas. Benton Harbor has a lot of potential but places like this really hold it back.
