Not a bad place to stay for cheap. Walking around i do believe people stay here long term. Lots of people hanging outside the rooms. Pool is shut down.
We checked in and got a room assigned to us. We decided to keep our luggage in the car because we were going to leave for a few hours and unpack when we got back. When we returned to our room, our room key did not work. Went to the front desk, and she told us that our room got switched. So she gave us another room. (Thank God we didn't leave our bags. The only reason I didn't rate this stay at a 5 is because our air conditioning wasn't very cold. The windows don't open either. However, when we contacted the front desk, he came down to see it and offered either another room or fan. We opted for the fan. He was very responsive to calls and questions. The room was pretty clean also, though the toilet paper dispenser needed repair. The bed was extremely comfortable also. Was not impressed at all.
I spent a week here in May 2026 while visiting family in Battle Creek. My room was clean and maintained with a convenient mini-kitchen with a wash sink, microwave and cold refrigrator. Good location with a Culvers restaurant next door and shopping only a few blocks away. Staff was prompt, friendly and helpful. Good cable TV package. Very satisfied with my stay.
