This was my 1st Red Rocks concert and what a way to go! I use a wheelchair and all the employees went out of their ways to assist me and made the Peter Frampton/Steve Miller Band concert past enjoyable. Thanks to the security guards who made sure I got to my seat safely and without fuss. My family and I sat in the front row and the security detail at the front of the stage made sure our line of sight was unobstructed. And then there was Spencer our waiter. Beautiful!! The venue is in the side of a hill/rock formation. With that said, be prepared to hike uphill about a mile (maybe less but it felt far), and up about 300+ stairs to your seats depending where your seats are. I suggest wearing good sturdy shoes...not flip flops. I also suggest the route that is mostly stairs versus the route that zig zag up the hill. Trust me. You can bring in a blanket or cushion to put down on the stadium/bleacher like seating. Signage isn't the greatest so don't forget where you parked or where... read more

One of the best best concerts I've been to seeing Peter Frampton and Steve Miller. I didn't realize how great they are at the guitar too! Red Rocks is the perfect setting for concerts.
