Another wonderful experience watching a fantastic show, Face Vocal Band. I grew up in the shadow of Red Rocks and I always LOVE coming back home! It did rain, but the sun come out just in time for Face. It was magical!

Do not miss a concert here. It is always fun to go to Red Rocks! Beautiful surroundings and the groups that are booked reach a wide range of audience. Be prepared for a hike up to the venue and spectacular views.

We visited the park on August 6, 2017. We were there at 1:30 pm. There was to be an evening concert, so touring the actual amphitheater was off limits. The actual amphitheater is not at all visible from any of the rock formations that surround it. This was disapponting. Still, there are plenty of trails around the rocks with sweeping views way past Denver. The Visitor Center and Hall of Fame were only open until 2:30, so plan to visit early and avoid performance days.

Other than the large bull snake encounter on the stairs at the Jerry tribute show last weekend! Eeekkkk! I don't think I have had many bad experiences here in 30+ years of seeing shows...drink prices are high but that is the same at any venue these days...magical place with so many great memories.
