It would be really nice if there was security checking tickets for reserved seating to prevent people from sitting where they are not supposed to! People seat jump and crowd into rows that they don't have tickets for. The reserved sections are NOT STANDING ROOM ONLY! People pay a lot of money for the reserved seats and it is horrible to be pushed and bumped into by drunk and stoned people who don't have tickets in those rows! There has got be a better way to control this issue. I have gone to many, many concerts at Red Rocks... read more

If you are a musician, then Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre is hallowed ground. The vistas are breathtaking and so are the rock formations.

Red Rocks was the second best venue I have ever been too! First, was in the middle of the ocean with matchbox20 & googoo dolls so it's hard to top that but my family and I were mesmerized by the experience we had. Just beautiful.

Amazing venue! Nothing else compares to it in the USA. Even an average band sounds extraordinary while playing at Red Rocks.

I've seen a lot of shows there over the years, and yeah - you have to take into consideration that it's an outside venue, but you just plan ahead and bring layers. Most of the time, if you get a little rain - it's gone in a few minutes. I just saw Rob Thomas and Counting Crows there the other night, and I don't think the weather could... read more

We traveled from Utah to see The Counting Crows show on 9/19, and sat in reserved seating on row 34 of the amphitheatre. We had an amazing view of the stage and our surroundings, and really had no trouble with cigarette and/or marijuana smoke. There were vendors traveling up and down the aisles selling beer throughout the show, which I appreciated! I was able to buy a drink in my seat, without dealing with lines! We were parked at the Upper North Lot, from which we did have a short walk to the amphitheatre. The walk had gorg... read more
