Just moved here from NY and I have to say this is the BEST Latin restaurant I’ve been to. The atmosphere is AMAZING! I’ve tried several Caribbean places that “claim” to have good Latin food, but I’ve always left EXTREMELY disappointed. Not here!!! I’m super happy and most importantly, my tummy is beyond happy!! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Atmosphere, the servers,the FOOD , 😱 was so excellent. I highly recommended this place to everyone, we order Chuletas al Kankan, Arroz con gandules, cerdo asado con ensalada de papas, 😱🏻😍😍😘😘😘⭐️⭐️⭐️. And for desert Tres leches 🍰 comes with ice cream. Hadn’t had Mofongo in a long time .... fantastic, the waitress.... a little lacking.
Food was ok, have had better for less. Asked what non alcoholic drinks they had and waitress said sodas. We asked if they had juice was told no, asked if we could have a mojito without alcohol, waitress didn’t know, asked bartender and we got our drink and still charged us the full price as if they had alcohol. $77 for 2 mojitos, chicken, pernil and plantains. I make a Christmas feast for less than that. Then, just saw on the news their health rating, 17 day to do chicken, dishes not sanitized- no thank you.
