My wife and I ate at the Red Lion Inn for the first time last week and we couldn't have been happier with the food and the service. We heard they make their own pasta daily so I tried out the linguine and ravioli with their bolognese sauce and it was excellent - huge pieces of meat in the sauce. My wife ordered shrimp with linguine and garlic/butter sauce and she loved hers as well. I ate everything she couldn't. Never had a bad meal here. Also great drinks at the bar. Portions are very large. Never ate all my dinner always take some home. Been coming here for many many years. You will not be disappointed.
This place is awesome. A real stop to smell the roses type place. Clams casino, clams on the 1/2 and the pork roll and cheese is a meal fit for a king. Everybody is friendly. This is the New Jersey I know and love.
