Featured on Food Networks, "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" theRed Iguana has been a Salt Lake City staple long before the show aired. This Mexican restaurant is family owned and operated, serving dishes from various regions of Mexico as well as some family favorites handed down from generation to generation. This family friendly establishment also offers a simplified menu for los niños and is so popular that a line can be seen wrapping around the block during high traffic meal times.

Best service I've ever had in a restaurant. Sam was amazing. The Margarita's were on point, and the food was glorious. Prices were amazing. Best experience I've had in a very long time.
The salsa was amazing, even bought a bottle to bring back to phoenix. Mango mole enchiladas were killer too.
We went today. The service was good, the Chili Colorado though was sweet. We have never had it served sweet. So we would not order that again. The mango mole was very good as well as the Chile Verde.
The best Mexican food I have ever had! Our waiter Sam was over the top with great customer service!
Delicious authentic Mexican food and great service! Will definetly come back!
Was ok. But don't think it was all that much better. Plus the line :(.
The staff is excellent and so is their food! Finally I have found an excellent Mexican restaurant in SLC.

Susanne loves Southwestern/Mexican food, but this was special. Mole sauces that are good are rare. Those that are great and come in such varieties are divine. And we found this heaven on e... read more
