Red Hot & Blue was founded by three Southerners who longed for great barbeque. The first Red Hot & Blue restaurant was opened to rave reviews in Arlington, VA. It was just a group of friends who wanted to eat good barbeque, listen to some good rhythm and blue tunes and make new friends in the process; they were successful beyond their wildest imagination. The food is terrible. If you want beef jerky masquerading as texas Barbecue, this is the place for you. Aside from their unsweetened tea, that tasted like it had been sitting out for a few days (you know that stinky rotten flavor, the one that makes you want to ..... well you get the picture) the beef jerky that was supposed to be barbecue was tasty. This place was just an all around bad experience. Paid WAY too much for food that was cold, flavorless, and looked like it was what was just left over from the day before. I heard good things about this place but guess they lied. Will never be back that's for sure....should have just gone to Texas Roadhouse smh.
Best chain BBQ place around. And they have Brunswick stew!
