Great crusty bread. Loved the fermented yeast Pai au Levain til they DISCONTINUED IT!!! Was ok for gluten intolerance.

Red Hen..has the best service and coffee in central Vermont Hands down!! Always look forward too my morning or anytime coffee..sometimes i will even travel from montpelier too Red Hen..just for a cup of coffee and a smile! look forward too my next visit and purchase!
Red Hen is a gem. A consistently great product (the croissants are the best I have found in VT), a welcoming staff (it's like Cheers, after a short time the remember your order), and owners who truly care about their employees and the community. Do yourself a favor and visit. You'll leave with a smile on your face.
Red Hen is our favorite place to stop before and after we ski Stowe , they have great bread soups and pastries is a must stop for a bread lover!

Red Hen Bakery and Café is a wonderful place to go eat great bread, food and have coffee or other coffee drinks. great sandwiches and atmosphere. It's Wi Fi ready, sometimes has live music. Just wonderful bread, our favorite.
