I received the 1 litre barrel as a gift. To be honest was kind of skeptical as I normally only drink Johnny Walker neat. So I put in a Manhattan with the cheapest rye whiskey I could find, and was actually blown away with the results in 3 days with a brand new barrel. Put in a Negroni today can't wait to taste it. Also the customer service is second to none. Emailed 4 times with questions and received responses in a timely manner! Love these guys.
Have a 5 gallon oak new barrel and a small one gallon barrel both were cured correctly and are now leaking like a sunken ship? Wax doesn’t help! Save your money this is a complete waste of my money and time! And not even a one time use!
