Joan the property manager takes advantage of college students and their parents. She has illegally kept our security deposit which is for damages only. Their leases are full of unreasonable expenses, fees, and language. I'm a full time real estate agent and well versed in leases. Do not rent from or use Red Elephant Rentals.
Great experience with a local landlord. I much prefer to speak with the same person (or same 2-3 people) every time I have a question or problem. This is so much better than living in a mega-complex (trust me--I have experience there too). You know who to contact when you have a problem, you know and recognize the repair workers if/when they come to your house, and they are really understanding and helpful if you call them about an issue. Joan is the meanest and most unfair landlord. She finds every chance she can to upcharge and overcharge tenants, while taking months to fix any problems in the property. When asked for receipts or proof of obscenely high charges added to your account, her response will simply be no.
Non responsive. Horrible management.
This is a landlord you do not want to rent any home, condo, or apartment from. He will make promises upfront to get you to sign lease, & never fulfill them, yet claim he has. He is violent, billigerent, & doesn't care about making repairs properly Or at all. We have never been treated by any person like we were treated as a bother when trying to get leaks, black mold, no working plumbing issues and yet he expects full rent and termed lease. Horrible, horrible leases. Had a feral cat problem and couldn't live with them birthing under my house due to allergies and there was "nothing they could do about it". You'd be better off living in a Delview property with the roaches, at least those don't smell up the whole house after dieing under your floorboards
