Consistent quality, light and fresh, inexpensive – Red Dragon consistently serves fresh and light entrees of just right portion sizes. The service is always efficient and friendly. However, if you like spicy food as I do, ask for hot sauce on the side. If you ask for the dish to be prepared extra spicy, even for the dishes with the little pepper by them on the menu, you will still be disappointed. The efficient service, the consistent freshness and quality, however, make it worth revisiting. Just be prepared to add your own ... read more
not impressed – I tried this place coz it had decent reviews- why .. i don't know.. the food was bland and not good. on top of that.. i called it in at least 15 minutes ahead of time, THEN had to wait 37 more minutes!? lame
Best Authentic Chinese – Best potstickers I've had. You can definitely tell that they are made fresh and not frozen. Enjoyed the Peking Duck too... Great experience!
Best P-o-t Stickers around – We've tried dozens of awful Chinese restaurants in Raleigh and were glad to finally discover the Red Dragon after nine months of searching. The service and food was very good. The Mandarin Scallops is excellent. The scallops were perfectly cooked and they did not skimp on them. The p-o-t (citysearch flagged this as an inappropriate word!) stickers were worth the 15 minute wait. The Cashew Chicken was also very good, though we prefer the way it was prepared by a favorite restaurant at our old home... read more
A la carte Chinese is alive and well in this neighborhood hideaway. – In Short The small, nicely appointed interior is devoid of the typical Chinese restaurant kitsch. The pot stickers, in contrast, are excellent. The boneless duck entree should be prized by duck-lovers for its crispy skin. The duck's brown sauce is heaven on a plate: slightly sweet, with laudable depth. It's no different here, but with excellent crispy veggies and a tasty sauce.
Best Chinese Food In Raleigh – My boyfriend is hard to impress when it comes to good Chinese food. I was a huge fan of Red Dragon and took him there thinking maybe, just maybe, he would love it as much as I. Now he requests it more often then I. It is a very small, quaint, great date restaurant. Leave the kids at home...to small.
the best chinese in the history of history – if you don't love this place you are out of your mind. please enter a mental hospital if this is not the best chinese food you have ever put in your mouth. super service, great with kids, and great for large groups. the general chicken and the crab rangoons rock the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not kid friendly and rude – My husband and our neighbor went to the newly opened branch of this restaurant and they are anything but kid-friendly. They shushed my kids directly twice. Food is ok.
yummy! – incredible dishes, out of this world service, and cozy setting....the best chinese food in the triangle served quickly, quaintly, and with a smile. call at least 30 minutes ahead to reserve a table. everyone loves the dragon...
