I had a major fire at my house which required the demo down to the studs of the entire house. I hired Lara Anderson and her associate Megan Mikkelsen of Red Door Interiors and it was the best decision I could have made! We drove all over Kent, Bellevue and South Seattle picking out all the flooring, counter tops, etc. every detail was addressed in every room. They worked extremely well communicating with my general contractor on every conceivable issue. I get compliments from everyone I have over!
I had a general idea of what I wanted but decided to hire the Red Door experts to actualize and execute. This was a rather substantial remodel. Although I have done a few remodels before, I can say unequivocally that this turned out to be the best due to Lara's astute and creative design talents. My advice to potential clients who are reading this review is to invest the time and effort to work with Lara and her team. She is very upfront about costs and sensitive to your budget and design requirements.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Lara at Red Door was truly amazing. We had been floundering for years about how to refresh our home ourselves but it was just so overwhelming. Bringing in Lara to help was the best decision we could have made. She worked with us to find a style we loved, and came up with a plan to remodel (kitchen and laundry room) and update the entire main floor of our house. We have used Red Door for multiple projects and are consistently thrilled with the results. Lara and her team do a great job of determining the furniture and decor that reflects the client’s preference, as well as the individual space. We have been happy with our final results from Red Door!
