Called ahead of time to confirm hours and drop off. Walked in store and before the door has even closed-a loud lady at the register said no drop offs on Monday, we never accept anything on Monday. Ok fine. So we stayed and shopped. The loud lady voiced her personal problems loudly to anyone within ear shot continuously. I absolutely love Red Door. When I moved here 10 years ago we stopped in and found some very reasonable high quality furniture for our spare room. We had a consignment store for children's things in WPB, FL called the Red Balloon, so when I saw Red Door I knew it was right for me. I come by often and just shop around. I have bought Plus size clothing, children's clothing, craft items, housewares, toys, shoes and more! I recently lost 50lbs and have about 30 to go. I must say first off, the staff are not friendly, and very rude..I took in very nice trendy items. Most of it they wouldn't take... some of which still.had price tags on them. I'm not sure what they are looking for, but my things were much nicer than what I saw on the racks...
I agree with the masses. This place has really gone down hill. The people are rude and be prepared to stay most of your day if you have to bring in items. Customers were literally bringing in 6 or 7 large gray Sterile light containers full of clothes at a time which took at least 45 min to go through. And with 4 or 5 of these people ahead of u you better get comfortable. Some people waited for 2 hrs!
