Today I had an appointment at 3:15. I have always been able to check in early. Until today. I show up at 2:40 and was rejected. I have a rare blood type. I will not be back.
I was scammed! I donated blood at this location on Tuesday, 6/9/26. In an email I received, prior to making an appt to donate, I was promised a $15 gift card if I came in for a donation in June. After my donation was taken, I stopped at the check in desk and asked for my gift card. The young woman there knew NOTHING about any gift cards! She had ZERO information after I showed her the email promising me a gift card! It is two days since my donation and guess what? No gift card received!!! Tuff to just go and give blood getting on web
Had an appointment to donate blood today. Checked in and sat in the lobby for 45 minutes without even being acknowledged. I don't know if I would be waiting another minute or hour so I left. No wonder there is a blood shortage, it would help if it was more convenient. Still like to donate, will need to feed a different way.
