Went late afternoon,just a little before dinner service,everyone was super friendly,our server Keoma was awesome! She knew her menu and was able to answer all of my questions! Also checked on us plenty and made sure our drinks stayed full at all times! Food was great, love the vinegar based bbq sauce,compared to sweet alot of places have! Well seasoned,hot and got it quick! Will go back!
This place was recommended by a co worker. It feels like a mountain lodge inside. The food was really good. I met some friendly people there and all of their food looked fab. I tried the ribs, chicken, and brisket nachos. All were good. Meals come with sides of your choice as well as beans, bread, and peppers. The server was super nice and did a great job. The owner came around and visited with all of us. Prices were in order. Overall great find in Carlsbad, where good restaurants are as rare as hens teeth
We had the Brisket entrée which was absolutely amazing. The Pecan Pie, Okra, coleslaw, beans, and potato salad were fantastic. The waitresses and service were top notch and accommodating. Very reasonable prices. We will make this our place to stop every time we come through Carlsbad for now on.
My husband and I went there after we went to the Caverns. We didn't know where to go and ended up there. The food was very tasty and the service was great. Loved everything. Next time we are up that way we will be going back. Thanks for a great dinner.
