RecommendedIt was amazing!! Lived up to all the hype! Had the chopped BBQ, fries, hush puppies, and lemonade and it was all great!
I love the food and the service is great but the thing I don't understand is if you have been in business as long as they have and you know the Shelby fair is in town how can you run out of bq? That is your business so why not cook more instead of turning people away that come to eat there when they come to the fair. They lose a lot of business.

I've visited my Mother & Sisters in Shelby NC many years, and hadn't tried Bridge's BBQ until this week. What was I thinking?! Terrific hush puppies, German slaw, and the tastiest bbq outside Lexington, NC. Pit cooked, smoked, and chopped. Out of this fricking world GOOD!
I absolutely love this place. Very good BBQ and sides, fast and friendly service and you can tell they are experts at doing what the've been doing for many years...making great food! I go as often as I can. LOTS of food for the price too.
The staff was awesome ! TheY got a well oiled machine as far as getting our order together . We came in and got it to go were in /out in about 15min . The atmosphere is great and family friendly. The bbq was SOME OF THE BEST IVE HAD !
Whenever I drive to Charlotte from Asheville, I always stop for a BBQ chopped sandwich with slaw! Excellent!!! ���
Great food, fast service and a very nice family restaurant. The BBQ Sauce seems to be a mix of Western NC and Eastern NC. The sauce has the vinegar taste of the East with the thicker and Smoky flavor of the West. The red slaw was amazing and what can I say about the wonderful hushpuppies, except they were awesome.
