Concord location is AWFUL! Biscuits were burned, poached eggs were cooked all the way through but nothing was as bad as my waitress. We were seated right away but didn't get greeted for 25 minutes. She laughed when I asked for eggs Benedict with scrambled vs. poached eggs and said, "yeah they won't do that." My fiancé ended up ordering the eggs benedict and it was as awful as my Sausage and gravy biscuits. The waitress checked on us after the food arrived.. and asked how it was. I like this location a lot better than the others. I also like the layout of this location more than the others. There is a lot more room in this diner than the others. It makes it feel less crowded and the more open concept allows for optimal movement of staff and patrons.
Went Sunday & waited 30 minutes for food after ordering. A salad appeared in the pick up window and was not delivered for 15 min. The waitress said " that's ok, the heat lamp was on it to keep the meat warm". This was a chef salad. The plate was so hot I could barely touch it. I did not send it back because the others were eating and didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for food. Very poor service. Tell waitresses that you don't heat chef salads!
One of my top 3 best breakfast places. Food, service, place is great. Will go back.....asap with my wife !!!
We went to the one in Concord and ordered for pick up earlier today around lunch time and it was a huge disappointed. The spaghetti with meat balls was straight marinara sauce. There was no flavor other than tomatoes. And the spaghetti was way over cooked and no taste. My husband had the chicken parmesan. He said it doesn't usually come with chicken tenders but that's what was put on there. The pasta was soggy, too.
Went to new location in concord Saturdat evening at 9:30 pm with wife and son as we wanted to try it. There were two people waiting in line in front of us and two people in line after us. Waitress comes out and says kitchen says not to seat anyone until 10:00 and food will not be ready for approximately 45 minutes. There were several open tables and it certainly did not appear that busy. I have never heard of a restaurant not seating patrons at all for 30 minutes. We, too, were very disappointed. My friend ordered roast turkey with gravy and the turkey was dry, the gravy was lumpy and neither was too good. I had a meatball sandwich which I could have done without. The meatballs were tasteless as the sauce was but the provolone cheese why that was just fine. We realize you just opened and I do hope things improve because we may not be back for quite some time. If we have the same experience again we won't be back at all. Our server was very considerate.
