Be careful storing anything valuable here. A motorcycle was removed from a “secured” unit at this facility without authorization, and there has been little to no accountability from management. The facility’s own policy states that non-tenants are not permitted access, yet someone was able to get in and remove property without issue. What’s more concerning is the lack of clear answers. I rarely leave reviews, but this situation needs to be documented. I rented a unit at RecNation in Fort Myers under the understanding that this was a secured, access-controlled facility. They clearly state that non-tenants are not permitted access. On March 19, 2026, an unauthorized individual gained access to the property and removed a motorcycle from my unit without my knowledge or consent. Own a 40’ RV and just began leasing a covered space at a RecNation location in Fort Myers. The sign up process is easy, however you need to read the rental contract carefully as RN wants to sell you additional insurance. The facility is well built, however I wish they designed the stalls in the opposite direction that they are currently marked. If they were, I could have pulled right into my spot.
