Warning others not to use Dr. Rebekah J Abbott or Dr McKarnin (filled in for Abbott). They don't listen, can't spare two minutes to look into an issue, aren't available for sick visits, prescribed medication with no warning of the withdrawal symptoms, refused to acknowledge my very real health issue experienced by many others because it doesn't fit into their cookie cutter mold of health issues. Please don't risk your health and well being in the hands of these two. You deserve a doctor who cares about you.
Dr. Abbott has excellent clinical knowledge and I just love her personality, she is intelligent and kind. Really hard to beat that! I feel like when I see her she pays attention to what I am saying and how I feel. I like the way she reviews labs, I always feel like i know what is going on with my body.
I'm very happy with Dr. Abbott and St. Lukes South. She listens and does not rush you. Very personable and professional.
