A joke of an appointment! Usually a yearly physical to get a prescription for thyroid meds renewed. This was a look at my file and a trip to the lab. Curious what they think they are going to charge me. Certainly not a physical! This clinic is not the same as it has been for the past 20 years. I won't be back, I am seeking another clinic and will more thoroughly research the next doctor I see. Disappointing to say the least.

I had read some very negative reviews about Dr. Mattison including comments about arrogance and being dismissive to patients. Of course there were many positive reviews as well so I decided to go the Minneapolis Endocrinology clinic and see her regarding a testosterone issue. Dr. Mattison found my thyroid cancer and was calm, incredibly thorough, and patient every step of the way. She listened to my concerns and was compassionate. She’s also very punctual which I love! I will not see any other endocrinologist even when my insurance changed I pay out of pocket to see her. The surgeon she referred me to left almost NO scar.

I would not recommend Dr. Mattison. I felt rushed through my appointment. I felt she was condescending about my condition. I wanted to learn more about my condition, and she was not helpful at all. It’s taken over a month to receive my final prescription. She was not a good resource or doctor. I would not send anyone to her.

How do you rate a doctor that has saved your life? I had a stroke worthy problem with blood pressure going up and down from 200+ to <70 (Systolic) I was plugged into monitors went to doctors from 4 different systems 11 times over the period of months without any treatment or plan. I was literally waiting for the big one to hit. Knowing the state of the art and keeping up with technology helped but she has the mind to put things together and come up with solutions. A+ The Best!

the Dr. herself is basic, but her staff are down right awful!! I asked for a prescription refill and it took eight weeks!! Each other staff blaming the other one . losing paperwork , claiming to be too busy to help, saying they are "short staffed" . and the worse excuse of all ---the patients in clinic are first priority over anyone else!!! What a horrible excuse!! just do your JOB or quit. I think they are just goofing off and not working at ALL!!!

Dr. Mattison is INCREDIBLE!! I've had type 1 for over 36 years and she is one of the very best endocrinologists I've had work with me on managing my diabetes. She is real, smart, kind and insightful. I feel like I have a partner in navigating the challenges of diabetes.

I would totally recommend Dr. Mattison! Okay, it was only my first visit but it was so awesome to have someone so incredibly knowledgeable that sat down and explained everything in detail to me about my thyroid issues and my current medication along with other possible options. She is an excellent communicator. I finally have a specialist to partner with to get things on track after suffering for several years. What a breath of fresh air!
