I leased 12930 Nicollet Ave Unit 202 (Burnsville, MN) through Realty Exchange and agent Leslie Dahlen in June 2025. What I discovered afterwards was outrageous: Unlicensed rental: The City of Burnsville confirmed in writing (7/17/25) that my unit was not licensed as a rental at the time I moved in. A license was not even applied for until 7/28/25 — after I had already signed the lease and taken possession. Renting without a license violates Minn.
