My family and I celebrated my sister's 30th birthday at Reel Seafood and had the most amazing time! The staff is beyond accommodating and friendly and the oysters are AMAZING. The complimentary rolls are to die for as well :) Thank you, Reel Seafood, for such a memorable evening!
My second visit to Reel Seafood. Both times I had the most amazing waiter / waitress. As much as I would like to "skip the bread" who can? The rolls fresh out of the oven were just amazing! Tonight I had the Seafood Giovanni (Scallops, Shrimp, diced tomatoes, fresh spinach and mushrooms in a basil garlic wine sauce. Delish! My only criticism is that I like my mushrooms freshly sautéed. I come to Albany monthly for business travel. We've eaten at reel seafood once before on Wolf road. Went back again last evening expecting the same delicious meal and quality service we've received before. This evening I tried their new ahi tuna noodle bowl. It made me very ill. I'm aware of the possibilities of illness especially with seafood. And since Albany isn't on the coast, you can't be to sure how fresh the seafood really is. Excellent. Great service, atmosphere. Big tender juicy cherrystone clams, and the lobster mac and cheese was delicious!!
A little disappointed with the food especially for the price but the atmosphere was nice.
I used to love it there. Have had brunch many times. The last 3 times it wasn't great and I was very disappointed this last time. The food was ice cold when we got it. It did get returned and redone but I didnt have crab in my oscar omelett and the egg was over cooked. By that time I just wanted to go. It used to be so great. I will miss going there. The waitress was very nice and accomodating
