Absolutely horrible and disappointing experience with Sarah and Real Estate Solutions of Alaska. After our lease ended, we completely emptied and cleaned the unit. About a week later, I contacted Sarah to confirm everything was in good condition. She complimented how clean the home was, mentioned only a few minor concerns, and told me we should expect the remainder of our deposit within 14 days of the termination date. Absolutely horrible. Throughout our year renting through this company, we never ran into any issues until it came time to collect our security deposit. Sarah walked through the property after we moved out and commented on how clean it was. However, the day we were supposed to get our deposit, she sends an email accusing us of breaking the lease by having a pet on the property that left urine stains and paw prints. The property is older but very well maintained. The carpet was old and stained at move in, but it is a pet-friendly unit. Noise doesn’t travel between units hardly at all, although smells do! Sarah did exactly what she said she would. Rental unit has been exactly what was promised. Sarah always responded to my emails and has been nothing but pleasant to work with. No complaints at all.
