Well where do I begin..firstly we better get a refund from this stay because honestly im surprised this place is still able to rent rooms, OHS would have a ball here!! Our first impression on walking in , we all wanted to run out! The carpets are so badly stained throughout the whole appartment ( see photos) It looked like we'd walked into the wrong room! On December 17 we stayed at apartment #105 ReadySet Apartments at Southbank Condos. As you can see from previous reviews for the same apartment in November, the apartment was a shambles and in complete unacceptable state. Similar to others, we were told that that apartment was functional where it in fact was not. They did advise us a day prior to arriving that one of the toilets was out of order. In November 2025 we stayed at ReadySet Apartment #105 at Southbank Condos in Melbourne. There were a number of issues with the property that warranted complaint and a subsequent request for refund: partial electricity, no wi-fi, fixtures unfit for purpose and general dirtiness. We paid full room rate in good faith. When I reported problems after our stay I received a reply from an unnamed person that said, "We apologize for the inconvenience the power point problem might cause. This place is a DISGRACE hell hole.. We stayed in room 111 on the 13 / 10 / 25.. I'd wish i had read reviews prior .. Honestly do NOT goo here.. It is a pig sty.. We came from5 hours away 4 my wife's operation at Austin hospital. Payed in advance for 4 nights stay..plus a $295 bond..... in which we have not received back as yet a week later......scammers.. On arrivall carpet was disgustingly filthy... Stains all on couch and rugs..like horrible stains that stunk.. Outside balcony had not been cleaned in months/ a year plus..... read more
