Best day to go is Sunday. It was PACKED on Saturday. Actually got to enjoy the market on Sunday and see places we missed in the hubbub of it all on the previous day.

Reading terminal has all the fresh foods for your cooking needs and taste buds,
So many options!!! There was a BBQ block party outside, so that live music and extra food options was a very nice perk of visiting July 16... when crowded, it's a tight squeeze to make your way around
Compared to NYC markets, all the grocery was soooooo cheap omg... By George's has some real good cheesesteaks - for being located in center city - they're full of flavor and not too messy!!!
Make your way to Carmen's Famous and grab an incredible Philly Cheesesteak, DiNic's roast pork sandwich on the other hand is over-rated.
