This is an amazing full service running store. Great selection of merchandise, with a very knowledgeable staff. We frequent running stores in our cross country travels. Running Central tops the list. Much to our surprise we were able.to meet the world class/Olympic athlete, Laura Thweat� What a precious humble girl. Thank you Running Central!!

Why choose Running Central? Locally owned for one thing, involved in the community is another. The sales associates are outstanding. They make sure you have the right shoes when you leave. Plus thank you notes post visit that even detail conversations you had around your needs! John is the best!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Terrible customer service. My husband knew exactly what shoe he needed, and was wanting to shop local. We were told, by the manager, the shoe could be ordered, and would be here in 3-5 days. A few hours after we had paid, we received a phone call from the manager, Brian, stating that our salesman had told us the wrong information, and that he failed to check another site. We have been coming to Running Central for years. We actually won't buy athletic shoes anywhere else because of the excellent service and reasonable prices. All of the salespeople are very knowledgable and enthused about their product. I bought new shoes on September 7 and again felt very cared for. Not only that, but we received a handwritten postcard from Zach a couple of days later thanking us for our business and making a personal comment that indicated he really remembered us. That is the way to keep business local!

Customer service was atrocious. I went in to find a new pair of lifting shoes and no one offered to help, or even greeted me for that matter. Some of the employees who weren't busy with customers even shot sideways glances at me and ran in the back room before I could get their assistance. What ever happened to good retail establishments who's employees were cordial and welcoming and wanted to send you out of the store with your needs met and a smile on your face? I will not be going back.

I drove from the Indianapolis area on the recommendation of a friend to Running Central. The service was stellar. Amanda was fabulous. I have had trouble finding shoes for my big, wide feet. Finally, a store that actually measures feet. Found shoes that fit, supported my fallen arches, and gave my toes wiggle room. Very happy. Will shop here again.

Visited Running Central last week and was fitted for my first pair of running shoes. Baylie was excellent & even took the time to show me specific stretches to help alleviate my shinsplint pain. An overall great experience!
