I can't wait to go back! – When my husband and I want a romantic evening out, we always choose Raz'z. The atmosphere is relaxing, the staff is attentive and ALWAYS polite, the food is excellent and reasonably priced, and the attention to detail is evident. My favorite in Nashville hands down!!! – My wife and I took a long shot for a friday night dinner a few months back and went to Razzs...and we keep going back! Besides the courteous and efficient staff, we always get a visit from Razz himself from the kitchen who seems to truly remember everybody!! A nice, semi-casual destination restaurant that I would recommend to anyone who likes a cajun flair to their food.
A Great Anniversary Night – My wife and I just celebrated our third anniversary at Razz's. I called Razz earlier in the day and Richard (our waiter) had everthing arranged: Rose petals on our table...soft lights and jazz music on the veranda - overall, a very cozy and intimate place. We would recommend Razz's for any occasion or group! Thank you Razz...you are...the man! PS My wife loves the black cloth napkins....they don't leave residue on your dark clothes.
A True Conversation Piece... – Absolutely excellent...the music, personalities, setting- awesome. The fact that the owner will come out and shake your hand in a sincere and authentic manner shows true class. Razz'z (owners and employees) make you feel really special. I frequently have dinners with my wife, son and business partners there (my son thinks Razz is so cool). If you really want to make an impression don't think twice (it's gotten me out of the dog house several times).
Family-style restaurant with a smooth jazz soundtrack. – In Short Nigerian-born owner Raz Admosu combines recipes from his native land with traditional American cuisine at this casual family restaurant. The space is arranged as three different rooms: a wood-paneled and fern-adorned bar area, a dimly lit main dining room and an enclosed porch. Occasionally there is live jazz music on the porch in the evenings. This theme continues inside, with recorded smooth jazz background music adding a romantic late-night touch.
Some people just don't know a good place – The person that rated Raz'z a 1 must have no taste. Considering their user name I'm not suprised. Raz'z is one of the best restaurants on this side of town. Food choices are ample. Soup always freshly made. Atmosphere fantastic. Applebees could only hope for half as much. Raz'z also as a good but limited selection of beers and wine. A very pleasant surprise – I tried Raz'z this past weekend and loved it. I was greeted and seated by Raz, the owner/chef. He and the waiter were friendly and enthusiastic. One thing I noticed right away was the roominess of the booths - at many places you need a shoehorn to get in or out, here they got it right. I'm not one of those people who cares about the "presentation" of the food , but when my meal came I looked at it and said "This was done by somebody who cares about what he's doing." Raz'z Is All That Jazz! – This is my new favorite restaurant. I have never seen anything quite like it. There was a broad menu with reasonable prices. The staff was very courteous. And I can't get over this: the owner (Raz'z, also the chef) came out of the kitchen and was talking to some regulars, then some more customers came through the door and he proceeded to greet and seat them.
